Alberta School Board elections will take place on Monday, October 18, 2021!
Elected by and accountable to the communities they serve, trustees, and the board as a whole, are:
- Advocates for Alberta's children
- Champions for education
- Partners in education
- Strategic governors
- Political officials
- A bridge between government and the community

The Nomination Period is now open and runs until 12:00 pm. on nomination day, September 20, 2021.
How do I become a candidate?
Candidates must submit a completed Board Election Nomination Package to NGPS Division Office, located at 4816-49 Avenue in Whitecourt, or to one of the five schools indicated within the package, on nomination day, Monday, September 20, 2021, between 10 am and noon. A deposit of $50 in cash, certified cheque or money order must accompany the nomination. Candidate packages are available for pickup at the Division Office or can be downloaded here:
