April is World Autism Month, an annual opportunity for a dedicated conversation about autism spectrum disorder and to learn about the many people in our community with autism. Autism touches more than 70 million people globally. Approximately 1 in 66 children and youth are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in Canada, and this number continues to grow. At Pat Hardy, our dedicated staff go above and beyond to provide individualized programming for all learners. Today we celebrate our inclusive environment and the hard work our staff do daily to provide exceptional and diverse learning opportunities to support all children.
